Impact of Social Media on Adolescent-Let's Talk Teens

Under the aegis of Adolescent Health Academy an important session for Grade VIII students was conducted today by Dr Prakash Veer Arya and Dr Mukul Tiwari. Dr. Tiwari spoke on the benefits of Social Media and subsequently threw light on its negative impacts when used excessively. He added that intensive usage of Social Media by Adolescents results in poor performance in academics.
Dr. Arya further enlightened the students about the important aspects related to Social Media.He shared that one should never share Facebook password with anyone except with parents. He also shared with the students important points related to cyber bullying and cyber stranger danger. Further issues and queries were resolved by the eminent speakers. The workshop concluded with memento presentation by Principal.
