Stress Management Workshop
It's all about finding the calm in the chaos.
To overcome the stress and anxiety, a workshop on 'Stress Management' and 'Performance Enhancement' was organised for our senior Glorians of classes XI and XII.
Aiming to guide the students on how to relieve themselves from stress in order to excel in the fields chosen by them, the workshop was addressed by Dr Mohita Junnarkar and Ms Deep Mala Chowdhury.
While addressing the Glorians the speaker said that anxiety is a part of human nature, but it is important to know how to overcome it.She also added that “Youngsters most of the time find it difficult to face the changes and to cope with such variations. Hence, this leads to stress, anxiety and tension". She emphasised on the stress relaxation, and different stress management techniques related to various aspects which included Right Posture, Study Environment, Nutrition, Mental Relaxation, Workout, Hydration ,Proper Sleep along with Routine Planning and Management. She shared if students consider these aspects in routine then this may lead to Psychological balance as healthy mind leads to healthy body.
Later an interactive session was held in which the queries of the curious Glorians were resolved.
