Activities conducted under the Swachhata Pakhwada
Gwalior Glory High School enthusiastically organised various competitions, and other activities for the realisation of the programme . During Swachhata Pakhwada celebrations , all the students of the school were engaged in different Participatory activities along with Special lectures were arranged to sensitize them in the morning assembly and in their classes about the importance of cleanliness of the surroundings.
Recognizing the vital role of the schools in spreading the awareness about Swachhata Mission…Gwalior Glory High School conducted Swachhata Shapath a participatory activity on the 1st day of Cleanliness Drive for Swachh Bharat- Swachhata Pakhwada which was observed from 1st to 15th September, 2019 . The students pledged to take this noble cause and initiate in their environment be it their home or school and give their 100% to make it a better and cleaner place to live in and encourage everyone around them to do the same...
On the 2nd day of Cleanliness Drive for Swachh Bharat- Swachhata Pakhwada an informative and an encouraging teachers talk was conducted to sensitize the young minds in contributing for the huge step taken by the Government of India and “To be a part of solution

Your Habits are reflection of you” are the aspects emphasized throughthe talk.
Moving on forward with the Cleanliness Drive for Swachh Bharat and spreading awareness about the Swachhata Mission, students of Gwalior Glory High School conducted an Awareness Rally in the school premises during the day wherein the children had an interactive session.T hey also laid stress on how to go about Cleanliness Drive narrating simple Do's & Don'ts for promoting cleanliness and hygiene in their homes, locality and surrounding areas....
Next it was action day in the series of participatory activities in Cleanliness Drive for SwachhBharat-Swachhata Pakhwada wherein students sang the Swachh Bharat song "Mere dil se aa rahi aawaz" to convey the message of making Bharat Swachh, beautiful,clean and to be its proud citizen....
"Feeling Fresh, smelling clean, always practice good hygiene"..."Few hand wash a day would keep germs away."....were some mantras spread on the Hand Wash Day & Personal ( oral ) Hygiene Day ...in the series of participatory activities in Cleanliness wherein students participated in both the activities .. Ensuring that....Hygiene is, as important as ABC Always Be Clean.
Swachhata Hi Seva hit a highpoint in our school wherein the NCC Cadets took Enthusiastic cleanliness initiative to lead the Cleanliness Drive on campus under participatory activities under “Swachhta Hi Sewa” to contribute to Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of a Clean India.
Next students of class Vll & Vlll staged an informative skit in the assembly bearing the message of keeping our surroundings and workplace in an order and clean to maintain Godliness in today's society.
Then was Exhibition Day in participatory activities for the Cleanliness Drive where in students of class lV to Vlll put up an interesting & informative Exhibition which depicted different (best out of waste) models of clean city areas and the methods to keep our surrounding clean by-different methods like door to door collection of waste & segregating dry and wet waste to keep the areas clean to maintain the smart and clean city status. They also went a step further by making charts representing pictorial depiction of the same which enhanced the beauty of the exhibition..
The celebrations concluded by facilitating the winners of various competitions and inspiring ideas as food for thought for our young minds by the Principal in concluding speech for the Cleanliness drive for Swachh Bharat in Swachhata Pakhwada .
