Gwalior Glory High School is committed to pursue the campaign to create awareness about positive and healthier aspects of life. On 20th of April, the school organised 'Ehsaas' Parent Orientation Programme for the parents of children studying in Class V. The invited expert speakers were renowned Paediatrician Dr.Suhas Dhonde who spoke on Parenting Child of Age - 10 to 15 years, Tackling Behavioural Changes and Instilling Happy and Positive Mindset and Dr. Abhyuday Tiwari (Skin Specialist) who talked about hygiene and skin care in adolescents.
The guests were welcomed by the Principal, Dr. Rajeshwari Sawant. The parents were also suggested some tips on 'Nutrition and Diet' by the School Nutritionist, Ms. Shweta Tiwari and 'Understanding Child Psychology ' by the School Counselor, Ms. Prachi Vaidya Bhatnagar. At the end the panelists answered the questions of parents in order to guide them on challenges related to parenting.
The Academic Coordinator Ms. Shalini Malik also resolved queries of parents and shared suggestions about building regular study habits among students.
To emphasise on building bond of affection and respect with grand parents , a film titled, 'Beej Jo Maine Boya Tha' was screened which is a reflection of the ethos that the school instills in the students- family values, trust and empathy, nurturing them into caring and responsible members of the family.
