LEARNING OUTCOMES AND PEDAGOGIES WORKSHOP

A CBSE workshop, *LEARNING OUTCOMES AND PEDAGOGIES* was organised at *Gwalior Glory High School* on 2nd May, 2024 in which teachers from various schools participated with great zeal. The objective of the workshop was to improve the quality of education through learning outcomes and pedagogies and to enhance the skills of preparing a lesson plan, making effective Rubrics for Assessments. The principal of the school, Dr Rajeshwari Sawant and the Vice Principal Ms. Shikha Sharma graced the event with their presence. The principal delivered an uplifting opening address enlightening about the key-points of the workshop. The renowned resource persons, Mrs. Megha Sathe and Mr. S C Shukla continued the session highlighting the importance of *Mental Health and Well-Being of School Students and Pedagogical Designs* that play an important role in helping teachers understand the best ways to conduct an effective class. In addition, knowledge of Competency Based Education, Rubrics for Assessments, Features of Bloom’s Taxonomy and Simpson’s Taxonomy were explained in a detailed manner to improve the quality of Education. Further, Ice-breaking activities on *Active Learning Strategies* were conducted, which helped the participants from various schools, shed their inhibitions and communicate with each other. Active Learning Strategies with different methods give an insight into how students can learn different topics in an easy manner.
Overall, the workshop was extremely interactive, informative and interesting.
