GGHS Celebrates Republic Day

Gwalior Glory High School Celebrates 76th Republic Day with Patriotic Fervor Gwalior Glory High School marked the 76th Republic Day with grandeur, enthusiasm, and a series of vibrant cultural programs. The celebration began with the ceremonial flag hoisting by the Director of the school, Mrs. Anita Wadhwani, escorted by the NCC cadets, symbolizing honor and unity. The spirit of patriotism resonated through a soulful group song, as students saluted the tricolor with pride and reverence. A dynamic group dance emphasized the significance of the “Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan,” filling the air with energy and inspiration. Powerful speeches in Hindi and English by the students highlighted the achievements of India, its progress and the ethos of *Vasudhava Kutumbakam* (the world is one family). Principal Dr. Rajeshwari Sawant, in her inspiring address, encouraged students to embody the ideals of the Constitution and strive for excellence in all endeavors. The event was graced by the presence of the Vice Principal, coordinators, and the entire school staff, making it a truly memorable occasion that celebrated the spirit of unity and patriotism.   More Images

Empowering Education: Mr. Madhukar Narrain Visits Gwalior Glory High School Gwalior Glory High School was honored to welcome Mr. Madhukar Narrain on 16th January 2025. As the Chairman of the Mauritian Society for Quality Control Circles, Director General of the World Council for Total Quality and Excellence in Education, Convenor of the 26th International Convention on Quality Circles (ICSQCC 2025), Mr. Narrain shared profound insights regarding the importance of Quality Circles (QC) in education and their transformative impact on schools. He also provided an exclusive briefing about the upcoming ICSQCC 2025, scheduled to be held in Mauritius this July, sparking excitement and inspiration among attendees. Students from the QC teams actively engaged in the session, showcasing their enthusiasm for innovation and excellence. Principal ,Dr. Rajeshwari Sawant extended heartfelt thanks to Mr. Narrain for his enlightening address and his unwavering commitment to foster global educational excellence.

The young stars of Classes 1 to 3 from Gwalior Glory High School had an absolute blast at our RECREA-SUN event! The day was filled with fun, laughter, and a myriad of exciting recreational activities. From energetic games to creative crafts, our little Glorians showcased their enthusiasm and creativity, making it a memorable day for everyone involved. Adolescent Conselling Session Let’s Connect With Teens “Manage Emotions and Stress”

*Let’s Connect With Teens* On January 11,2025, *Gwalior Glory High School* organised a session on how to *manage emotions and stress* for adolescents of class VIII. The session was led by Dr Sunita Prasad, Professor Pediatrics, GR Medical College, Dr Pratibha Dhir, Senior pediatric consultant, Dhir Clinic,Dr Avadhesh Verma, Assistant professor GRMC , Secretary Gwalior , who through their session, helped adolescent students to learn how to cope with the pressures of academic and personal life. The session aimed to equip students with effective stress management techniques and promote overall well-being witnessing active participation from the students who engaged enthusiastically in the discussions. Overall the session was informative, by engaging, and helpful in providing practical stress management tips and techniques to promote overall well being of glorians.

*Celebrating Veer Baal Diwas 2024* As part of the nationwide celebration of **Veer Baal Diwas** on 26th December 2024, Glorians enthusiastically participated in a week-long series of activities from 16th to 24th December. This year’s theme, **‘Veerta’**, highlighted the courage, kindness, and resilience displayed by children—the foundation of India’s bright future. Students showcased their creativity through **painting, essay writing, and storytelling** on inspiring topics like **”My Dream for India,” “What Makes Me Happy,” “Role of Children in Nation Building,”** and **”My Vision for a Viksit Bharat.”** The activities honored the spirit of young minds and celebrated their vision for a developed and prosperous India.

A Spectacular Celebration at Gwalior Glory High School! URJA: The Energetic Glorians The school campus was abuzz with enthusiasm and pride for a grand celebration filled with vibrant performances and energetic activities. The event began on an inspiring note ,with a warm address by the Principal, followed by the inauguration ceremony, where the esteemed Chief Guest , Prof. Dr. Indu Bora, Vice-Chancellor of L.N.I.P.E. (Officiating), was welcomed by the honorable Directors of the school. The esteemed Chief Guest released balloons, signifying hope and aspirations. She also congratulated everyone for the exceptional efforts in making the day a grand success. The highlights of the day included: A Melodious Welcome Song that set the perfect tone for the celebration. A disciplined and synchronized March Past, step to step, showcasing unity and precision. Little Glorians’ Skating Performance—a beautiful display of agility and grace. A Colourful Butterfly Drill, filling the arena with vibrant hues. The energetic Ball Drill, capturing the attention of the audience. Exciting Football and Hockey Matches, cheered by our spirited cheerleaders. A powerful Karate Skill Demonstration, reflecting strength and discipline. A unique fusion of Zumba and Yoga, blending energy with mindfulness. A mesmerizing Blossoming Flower Drill, symbolizing growth and creativity. An Energetic Zumba Performance, leaving everyone energized and joyful. The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the Vice Principal of the school, expressing gratitude to all those who contributed for the success of the event. The arena was filled with colours, energy, and enthusiasm, making the event truly unforgettable.
