 “Educating for a Sustainable Future: Integrating SDGs into the School Curriculum” A workshop on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) was recently organised at Gwalior Glory High School in collaboration with Goyal Brothers Prakashan, with the aim of aligning classroom teaching with global challenges and real-world issues. The session was led by Ms. Pratishtha Dwivedi, who brought the topic to life through fun-based activities and an engaging learning-by-doing approach. The key goals of the workshop were: 🔹 To help educators understand the 17 SDGs and their relevance in education. 🔹 To provide practical strategies for integrating SDGs into different subjects. 🔹 To encourage value-based learning through real-life examples and activities. 🔹 To develop an understanding among students about their role in addressing global concerns. With experiential learning at its core, the workshop reaffirmed the school’s commitment to nurturing socially responsible students through a progressive CBSE curriculum.

International Yoga Day

 International Yoga Day Celebrated at Gwalior Glory High School    On 21st June, Glorians marked the International Day of Yoga with great zeal and active participation from students, parents, and staff members. A live-streamed yoga session was conducted in the school auditorium under the ‘Yoga Sangam’ initiative by the Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India. The session highlighted how yoga nurtures not only physical health but also mental clarity and emotional balance.   Special offline sessions were also organized for the office and helping staff, ensuring inclusivity and collective well-being. To further engage students, the school conducted an Essay Writing Competition and Quiz, where participants showcased a deep understanding of yoga’s roots, relevance, and rewards. The essays were filled with insightful reflections, while the quiz created a vibrant and competitive atmosphere.   The celebration was a perfect blend of knowledge, practice, and awareness — reminding everyone that yoga is not just a practice, but a way of life.

Educational Trip to IITTM, Gwalior! On 29th April, Class 12 students of Gwalior Glory High School visited the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM), Gwalior. The students explored the campus, including classrooms, auditorium, library, playground, hostels, and other facilities. The senior faculty members shared detailed insights about the various courses offered, fee structure, scholarships, hostel amenities, and placement opportunities. It was an eye-opening experience that introduced students to the exciting world of tourism and its growing career prospects. A truly informative and inspiring visit!

Exploring Hospitality Education at IHM Gwalior! An enriching educational trip was organized for our Class 12 students to the prestigious Institute of Hotel Management, Gwalior on 28th April 2025. The students received a warm and gracious welcome from the faculty, setting the tone for an inspiring day ahead. A guided campus tour offered firsthand exposure to the world of hospitality, including insightful visits to the training pantry and bakery, where students observed culinary techniques in action. The highlight of the visit was an informative session in the auditorium, where the admission process was thoroughly explained by the IHM team. The visit concluded on a refreshing note with a delightful serving of Aam Panna, leaving everyone with sweet memories and a deeper understanding of hospitality as a career.

Talent Show For Class I to IX Newly Admitted Students

Gwalior Glory High School recently organized a vibrant Talent Show for the newly admitted students! Participants from Classes 1 to 9 wowed the audience with their diverse talents — from dancing, singing, acting, mimicry, and fancy dress to live music performances. The stage came alive with mesmerizing classical and fusion dances, soulful singing, heartfelt acting, thought-provoking speeches, and impressive mimicry. The show even featured thrilling martial arts like Taekwondo and Karate! Two talented students captivated the audience with their powerful recitations of the Mahishasur Mardini Stotra and the Shiv Tandav Stotra. It wasn’t just about performances — it was a celebration of each student’s unique abilities and a beautiful way to connect with peers.
