Adolescent Counseling Session- *”Let’s Connect with Teens”*

Today , 24th April, Gwalior Glory High School had organized, ‘An Adolescent Counseling Session’ as part of the *”Let’s Connect with Teens”* initiative for the students of class IX. The session focused on the topic *”Channelizing Strengths”* and was graced by distinguished speakers, who were welcomed wholeheartedly by the Principal. **Dr. Ghanshyam Das** – Professor Pediatrics, GRMC Gwalior – President, Gwalior Academy Pediatrics (GAP) **Dr. Sunita K Prasad** – Professor Pediatrics, GRMC Gwalior – President, Adolescent Health Academy (AHA) Gwalior **Dr. P V Arya** – Past President, AHA Gwalior – Secretary Central AHA – Director, Phulwari Nursing Home. The session aimed at providing valuable insights into adolescent challenges and effective strategies to channelize their strengths. Experts guided the students to focus more on themselves and their personality development, through comprehensive life skills, time management, resilience, creative and critical thinking, as well as problem-solving. The session was very interactive, and numerous questions were asked and resolved, making it an enriching experience for both the students and the faculty. Let’s Connect Alumni Perspective- Session on ‘Indian Army A Way of Life’

Let’s Connect: Alumni Perspective- Session on ‘Indian Army: A Way of Life’ Under the ongoing series of Let’s Connect: Alumni Perspective, Gwalior Glory High School organized an insightful session for the students of classes 10th, 11th & 12th, on the career prospects in the Indian Army. The session aimed at providing valuable insights into the wide range of opportunities available in the prestigious armed forces of India. The keynote speaker for the session, Captain Anshuman Sawant, an alumnus, shared his spectacular journey filled with valor, while serving the Indian Army. The session provided an in-depth understanding of the Indian Army structure, operations, and its role in national security. The alumnus discussed the various attributes of serving the motherland and marked it as a truly satisfying profession of honor. He highlighted the primary and secondary roles of the Indian Army, which included preserving the national interests, safeguarding the integrity of Indians, defending the nation against threats, and also providing aid to the civil authorities. Additionally, the alumnus shared various entry schemes, which involved qualifications and exams required for the entry into the Indian Army. He also shared the various branches available, such as infantry, artillery, armored corps, engineering, medical forces and many more. He also shared the emoluments along with other benefits in the armed forces. Towards the culmination, the queries of the students were addressed by the guest speaker. Let’s Connect Alumni Perspective ‘Career Prospects in Defence Services’

Let’s Connect: Alumni Perspective- Session on ‘Career Prospects in Defence Services’ An illuminating online session was conducted under the ongoing series of Let’s Connect: Alumni Perspective, at Gwalior Glory High School for the students of class 10th in reference to the Career Prospects in the Indian Defence Services. The session delved into the promising career avenues within India’s Defence Services. The session was led by school’s alumni Captain Naman Sharma (Indian Army) and Lieutenant Anmol Dubolia (Indian Navy). The resource persons discussed various career opportunities in defence services in India spanning the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force. They emphasized on the significance of qualities like physical fitness, mental acuity, and leadership prowess in the pursuit of a career in defence. They elucidated the rigorous selection process, including entry routes such as the National Defence Academy (NDA), Combined Defence Services (CDS) examination, and direct entry schemes for technical and non-technical roles. The session underscored the myriad benefits of a defence career, including job security, opportunities for personal and professional advancement, and the privilege of serving the nation with honour. Moreover, these services instill values of discipline, integrity and patriotism, fostering a sense of pride and duty towards the nation. Glorians gained valuable insights into various career prospects and felt inspired to serve the nation. Prerna Program

Prerana, an experiential learning program launched by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, offers a unique and inspiring experience to students. This program promotes experiential and immersive learning among the students of grade IX to XII. It is a transformative initiative aimed at nurturing students’ talents through various activities and mediums of expression. Its core objective is to empower the youth by fostering self-awareness and a sense of national responsibility. By encouraging students to ponder over questions like “Who am I?” and “What can I do for my country?”. Embracing the ethos of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (the world is one family), it promotes not only personal growth but also a broader understanding of globalization. Glorians embraced this opportunity and participated in this program at District Level at JNV Pichchore to showcase their talents. Teesya Raut, a student of class 11th, participated in essay writing by expressing her thoughts and Yashovardhan Dandotiya, from class 9th, showcased his creativity through painting. Participating in this program was a liberating experience, allowing the students to express themselves fully while igniting a passion to contribute to the welfare of our country and felt motivated to be the active and conscientious citizens.

TQM India Unison 2024

*TQM India Unison 2024* was held at ABV-IIITM, Gwalior and hosted by *QCFI Gwalior chapter* in association with *ABV-IIITM*. The Glorian Team, Abhyuthan – which comprised of the following Teesya Raut Class 11th Guhika Jain Class 11th Visshita Gupta Class 10th Made their mark by winning Par Excellence. Glorians also bagged accolades for putting up 2 brilliant dance performances and won the hearts of the audience. A cash prize was announced by Shri D K Srivastava the Executive Director of QCFI. The teachers in the organisers committee were Ms Shelly Saxena, Ms Anupama Tandon, Ms Praffull Nigam, Ms Kiran Kaur ,Ms Jayati Mukherjee and Ms Rekha Tiwari. Graduation Ceremony-24

The Graduation Ceremony for the outgoing batch of 2023-24 was held on 20th April 2024 in the glorious campus of Gwalior Glory High School. The ceremony was a blend of nostalgia, celebration, and inspiration. The grand procession of the guests and dignitaries lent a formal inception to the solemn occasion. The Director, Mrs Anita Wadhwani delivered an uplifting opening address, reflecting on the students’ growth and achievements throughout their academic years. The highlight of the ceremony was the distribution of the mementos to the graduates. The students stepped on the stage, class wise, to be captured in a frame, a moment filled with a melange of emotions—joy, gratitude, and a touch of melancholic nostalgia at the culmination of the school years. The students’ speech resonated with the audience as they expressed gratitude, shared memories. The sonorous renditions by the Glorians added an emotional touch with their heartfelt lyrics. As the ceremony concluded, the Principal, Dr Rajeshwari Sawant encouraged the graduates to embrace the challenges and continue striving for excellence. The Class of 2024 left the ceremony carrying the torch of knowledge and the spirit of Transcendence into their future endeavors.   More Images
