Talk on Myopia
Myopia Free MP Initiative: A Step Towards Better Vision for All
Gwalior Glory High School recently hosted an impactful session on the “Myopia Free MP” initiative, in collaboration with RJN Apollo, aimed at raising awareness about eye health and Myopia prevention.
The event began with a warm welcome from the principal, who emphasized the importance of eye health in the community. Myopia, or near sightedness, is a refractive error that makes distant objects appear blurry while close objects can be seen clearly.
Shri Nalin Baghel, a senior optometrist, along with his dedicated team from RJN Apollo, led the informative session. He highlighted the essential role of early intervention in children, stressing the significance of early detection and proactive practices, such as limiting screen time and ensuring regular eye check-ups.
The school expressed its gratitude to the guests by presenting saplings and momentos, symbolizing growth and appreciation.
The Vice Principal extended the vote of thanks, expressing appreciation to the guests for their valuable insights.
The session concluded with a powerful takeaway: “Healthy Eyes, Healthy Future,” reminding everyone of the vital role of vision care in ensuring long-term wellness.
