The teachers acted as our mentors and guided us with all their knowledge and experience. Principal Mrs. Rajeshwari Sawant mam also made sure that we got best of the guidance not only from the teachers but also from various other sources as well. She made sure that we had different personalities coming to school from various fields to share their knowledge and experience with us. Gwalior Glory will always remain a special part of my life and will always hold a special place in my heart because whatever I am today is because of the values that Gwalior Glory High School taught me.
Suryanshu Walvekar
My name is Suryanshu Walvekar, I was a part of GGHS family from 2006 thru 2008 (class 8th to 10th). I completed my Bachelors in Engineering from Indore (SVITS) and then moved to the US to pursue my Master’s Degree (MS) in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. I graduated in 2017, and moved to Boston in 2019. Since then, I have been working as a Mechanical Engineer in semi-conductor domain. GGHS has played a pivotal role in shaping up the life that I am living today. When I look back at my journey, I feel blessed to have been a part of this school. I am grateful to my mentors and teachers, who worked really hard so that students could get the very best of education, which is an essential part of everyone’s life. I realize how much it is important to not just stick to books alone, but to experience education in a more holistic way as it should be. I am proud that my school made sure that students were doing equally good with developing hobbies, were physically fit and mentally sound. Teachers and management’s attention to detail and commitment to serve in the best way achievable is beyond what I can describe. I recall how meditation was a part of curriculum, that helped children focus on right things. I feel how much important it is to learn Sanskrit, which was a part of our curriculum, that opened doors to unfathomable knowledge from our rich Indian heritage, which also finds application in modern day artificial intelligence and machine learning. I now know how much is it important to learn and keep on learning, which my school taught me. I would love to contribute in any which could be helpful for my school. Maybe giving students an idea with their career choices. A big shout out to my heroes: Rajeshwari Sawant mam, Smriti Khare mam, Renuka Agarwal mam, Shri Nigam mam, Ashutosh Sir, Preeti Taley mam just to name a few, and to everyone who I missed out to mention. Miss you all, will meet soon…..
Shashank Raj
Hey there, I’m Shashank! I’m currently a junior at Michigan State University, USA, majoring in Computer Science with minors in Data Science, Computational Mathematics, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, and Cognitive Science. When I’m not deep into coding or wrestling with complex algorithms, you’ll likely find me planning my next travel adventure. If I’m not at my keyboard, I’m probably 35,000 feet up, chasing experiences across the globe! Beyond the classroom, I’m honored to serve as the President & Controller of QuantZ: Michigan State University’s Premier Quantitative and STEM Finance Club. It’s an incredible feeling to be a Glorian leading MSU’s most distinguished STEM club and having a voice in shaping the undergraduate community. Trust me, QuantZ does some of the most cutting-edge work out there. At the moment, we’re developing a Reinforcement Learning-based filter for financial noise reduction — it’s next-level cool! On a personal note, I’m diving into research on algorithms for search and other operations optimized for large input sizes. As I write this, they’re undergoing rigorous profiling, but even in the preliminary stages, they outperform existing global benchmarks. It’s crazy and thrilling stuff! But before all these adventures in tech and finance, there was Gwalior Glory High School. It was at Glory where I built the foundation for everything I’m doing now. The school gave me the freedom to think differently, experiment (even when it meant risking a few marks during exams), and dream big. My teachers and friends were, and still are, some of the most influential people in my life. They encouraged me to question, innovate, and adapt — a lesson that’s stuck with me. One of the most incredible things about Gwalior Glory was how supportive everyone was, from teachers to Principal Ma’am herself. They never shut me down; instead, they fueled my curiosity and taught me to be fearless in my pursuit of knowledge. My advice? Don’t just follow the templates. Be aware of your actions, adapt your strategies, and don’t be afraid to ask for help. Growth comes from experimenting, learning, and refining. And remember, a little turbulence just makes the journey that much more thrilling!
Anshika Gupta
Namaskar, I, Anshika Gupta of batch 2021-22, feel proud to call myself a Glorian. Gwalior Glory High School has played a humongous role in my growth and development and I owe it to the school for what I am today. School has taught me everything, be it public speaking or organising events, be it leading a team or multitasking. My teachers have been there with me during every step of my learning, putting their full faith in me. Now, when I organise events single handedly in college or chair MUNs, I feel thankful to GGHS and its teachers for making me capable enough to do everything. The skills I developed during Quality Circle Conventions and various other national events helped me during my prestigious fellowship with Yuvaa and US Consulate General, Mumbai. Wherever I go, Glory will always be my second home. Cause once a glorian, always a glorian.
Aishwarya Singh
I am Aishwarya Singh, alumni of Gwalior Glory High School batch of 2011. I am an Advocate practising in the High Court of Madhya Pradesh, Principal seat at Jabalpur, from past 8 years. I am also a standing counsel for the State Information Commission, Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya, Jawaharlal Nehru krishi Vishwavidyalaya along with being a Panel Lawyer representing the State of Madhya Pradesh. I strongly believe the school plays an important role in developing one’s personality and character. In my case, I accredit all my achievements to GGHS family. Starting as a fairly timid child, the school groomed me to become a confident young adult. It was more than just a place of academic learning; it was a nurturing ground where values, discipline, and resilience were instilled in me. The teachers fostered a sense of curiosity and encouraged me to think critically, helping me to develop a love for learning that extends beyond textbooks. The co- curricular activities and the exposure to national and international competitions and events were a boost to my personality. Whether it was participating in sports, cultural events, or debates, each experience contributed to building my confidence and interpersonal skills. The school’s emphasis on ethics and empathy helped me grow as a compassionate and considerate individual. It taught me the value of integrity, respect for others, and the significance of contributing positively to society. Today, I carry these lessons with me, and they continue to guide my decisions and actions in every aspect of my life.

Sanskriti Sarangi
I am Sanskriti Sarangi from batch of 2013. I am currently working as a Manager with Consumer, Private and Business Banking division of Standard Chartered Bank. GGHS helped shape me in my most impressionable years especially during a time when I was entirely new to the city. I was given constant guidance from all the teachers right from the beginning. Every teacher took out time personally to help me catch up with my academics. The school gave me ample opportunities to explore and participate in quizzes, book reviews and creative arts. I also got an opportunity to represent the school at Odyssey, an international Literary Competition and was given constant guidance in every step of the way to wade through debates, dramatics and simulations. GGHS created a safe space for independent thinking, zeal to explore multifarious fields and helped challenge myself to do better, for which I will forever be grateful. Looking forward to coming to my alma mater and reliving all the countless memories.

I thank My Music Teachers who taught me so well that we also gained first position in Choithram India International School in Indore in orchestra Competition and also gained first position as a whole School. Shubham Patsaria
My name is Shubham Patsariya (GGHS Batch of 2013). I qualified CSE 2022 through which I have been allocated Indian Railway Management Service. My learnings during school days gave me a good foundation to not only become a good professional but also a better human being. Particularly, I was inspired by our principal ma’am Mrs. Rajeshwari Sawant as she always showed great empathy and compassion towards all of us. As is famously said children learn more from who you are than what you teach. I hope she continues to inspire many more impressionable minds like me and help them become better human beings in life.
