Career Counselling Session at Gwalior Glory High School

On 9th April 2025, the Class XII students had the privilege to attend an enlightening session on “Prospects in Travel and Tourism Management” by Dr. Kamakshi Maheshwari, Assistant Professor at IITTM, Gwalior.

A renowned academician and tourism expert, Dr. Maheshwari shared valuable insights into the vast career opportunities in tourism, drawing from her rich experience in national and international projects, including G20 and ASEAN programs. Her expertise in heritage and sustainable tourism deeply inspired the students.

*“Tourism is not just travel—it’s an opportunity to connect cultures, empower communities, and preserve our heritage.” The session encouraged students to explore this dynamic field with passion and purpose.

The session began with a warm welcome and a thoughtful address by the Principal, followed by Dr. Maheshwari’s enlightening talk and concluded with a Vote of Thanks by the Academic Coordinator of 9-12 segment.
