Independence Day Celebration

The 78th Anniversary of Independence Day was observed with great enthusiasm and zeal at Gwalior Glory High School, capturing the essence of nationalism and solidarity. The entire school campus was filled with a spirited atmosphere of unity, freedom, and harmony.

The school Director, Mr. Gopi Mandhan, Principal, Dr. Rajeshwari Sawant, and Vice Principal, Ms. Shikha Sharma, led the ceremony, with the national flag being hoisted and the national anthem sung to promote unity and nationalist sentiments.

After the flag-raising, Glorians showcased a plethora of cultural events, including inspiring patriotic songs by the young Glorians, mesmerizing dance performances, and last but not least, confident and articulate speeches.

The participants and winners of the 10th Quality Youth Initiative Summit held in Mauritius added vibrancy to the ceremony as they shared their wonderful experiences and were awarded for their spectacular contribution.

The Principal’s speech was thought-provoking, which emphasized making use of the opportunities to develop confidence, leadership qualities, and the essence of discipline in a student’s life. Additionally, she also made the students read the Indian pledge. Her words instilled optimism and determination in everyone to contribute towards the country’s progress.

Overall, the Independence Day celebration was a harmonious blend of solemnity and liveliness that effectively honored the spirit of freedom while motivating all to strive towards a better India.
