Gwalior Glory High School hosted a Lecture cum Demonstration on the Dhrupad style of singing for selected students of grades V to X. The session was led by eminent Dhrupad vocalists, Shri Abhijeet Sukhdane, Shri Anuj Pratap Singh, Ms. Yogini Tambe, Shri Yakhlesh Baghel, Shri Saket Kumar, and Shri Sudeep Bhadouria, who have dedicated themselves to promoting Indian classical music.

The workshop provided students with an in-depth understanding of Dhrupad’s history, its transition from Sanskrit to Braj Bhasha, and insights into instruments like the tanpura and pakhawaj. The session concluded with a Q&A, making it an enriching and educational experience for the Glorians.
