New Delhi Open Classical Chess Tournament

We are delighted to announce the outstanding performance of a Glorian, Om Bhatija of class IX A, at the New Delhi Open Classical Chess Tournament, held from 18th to 20th April 2025.

The Glorian participated in the Below 1800 Rating category and achieved a remarkable 2nd rank in the 1400–1600 rating group. His brilliant performance earned him a cash prize of Rs. 21,000/- and a trophy, marking a significant milestone in his chess journey.

Among 1100 participants from all over India, the Glorian secured an impressive 43rd overall rank, scoring 7 points out of 9 rounds – a testament to his strategic skill, focus, and consistency.

His success is a proud moment for all of us and reflects the dedicated mentorship of Mr. Girraj Pathak, his mentor and guide.
