Swayam - A Journey Within

Swayam....'A Journey Within' is a survey conducted by Glorians that includes the Mental, Physical and Psychological issues facing by the students in their adolescence.
Glorians are trying to find out the solution of these problems because 'Healthy Mind stays in Healthy Body'.

Adolescent Counseling Session for Class-VI

Dr. Sunita Prasad , Dr. Priyanka Neekhra, Dr. Richa Ambey, Pediatricians and Dr. Vishal, an alumni of Gwalior Glory High School, pursuing post-graduation in Pediatrics also shared his experience with the students and advised Glorians that, to achieve their goals, they should be determined and consistent. All the speakers emphasized on the importance of Positive thinking, Resilience, Gratitude, Open mindedness and Humility and gave tips to young Glorians on how to cultivate these traits.

Story Writing Competition

All the students participated in the competition enthusiastically and crafted beautiful short stories based on the adolescence pictures. The competition aimed at fostering creativity, literary skills and enhance imaginative abilities among the students. From thrilling adventures to heartwarming tales, the young writers showcased their incredible creativity and made the event a smashing success.

Adolescent Counseling Session for Class-IX

'An Adolescent Counseling Session' as part of the *"Let's Connect with Teens"* initiative for the students of class IX. The session aimed at providing valuable insights into adolescent challenges and effective strategies to channelize their strengths. Experts guided the students to focus more on themselves and their personality development, through comprehensive life skills, time management, resilience, creative and critical thinking, as well as problem-solving. The session was very interactive, and numerous questions were asked and resolved, making it an enriching experience for both the students and the faculty.

Career Counseling By Alumni of GGHS for Class IX-X

The session was led by school's alumni Captain Anshuman Sawant (Indian Army). He emphasized on the significance of qualities like physical fitness, mental acuity, and leadership prowess in the pursuit of a career in defense. Moreover, these services instill values of discipline, integrity and patriotism, fostering a sense of pride and duty towards the nation.

Yoga Session Organised in School

Incorporating yoga in schools offers numerous benefits for students, including improved emotional well-being, stress management, and enhanced concentration. Regular practice helps students develop self-discipline, physical fitness, and social skills through group activities. For this reason our school conducts yoga sessions once in a week. Yoga equips students with essential tools for academic and personal success, making it a valuable addition to educational programs.

Counselling session on adolescence and gynecological issues

Team 'Swayam' successfully conducted a counselling session at Gwalior Glory High School on adolescence and gynecological issues among teenage girls, as part of their project SWAYAM: A Journey Within. The session featured Dr. Shilpee Ojha, a renowned gynecologist and obstetrician, who addressed the challenges faced by girls during the onset of menstruation. Glorians openly discussed their concerns with Dr. Ojha, benefitting from her expert advice.

Under our Project ‘Swayam’, we are focusing on your health and hygiene . To know you better, we need to do a survey where you can share your problems. It will help us a lot to find out the solution.
