Shuchi’s writing journey started a little before the pandemic, but she got the opportunity to really showcase it when her short story, ‘Hope’, got selected for the Scholastic Writing Awards. Her stories and poems have  been published in The Unadulterated Tales, By Us For Us by Katha and For Kids By Kids, Silhouettes, When Shadows Speak and

‘Voices of the Vindhyas’ – a 2 volume anthology of stories by SCHOLASTIC India .

She also got the opportunity to attend sessions conducted by seasoned writers and mentors in the 2 day Literature Festival – Katha aur Kathakar organized by Scholastic in collaboration with MP Tourism.

The event was even more special for Shuchi as ‘Voices of the Vindhyas’ – 2 volumes of nuanced stories written by young authors of Madhya Pradesh was also launched at the event. Her short stories ‘Mayer Chhaya’ and ‘Dear Kai’ have been included in the volumes.

She extends her gratitude towards the school for giving her the chance to realize her potential in this field, for always supporting her in literary endeavors and guiding her to understand the nuances of the writing world.

Further she says “Today I know and believe I’ll successfully be able to pursue writing along with my career. Thanks to Gwalior Glory High School for nurturing my writing skills”
