International Yoga Day
International Yoga Day Celebrated at Gwalior Glory High School
On 21st June, Glorians marked the International Day of Yoga with great zeal and active participation from students, parents, and staff members. A live-streamed yoga session was conducted in the school auditorium under the ‘Yoga Sangam’ initiative by the Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India. The session highlighted how yoga nurtures not only physical health but also mental clarity and emotional balance.
Special offline sessions were also organized for the office and helping staff, ensuring inclusivity and collective well-being. To further engage students, the school conducted an Essay Writing Competition and Quiz, where participants showcased a deep understanding of yoga’s roots, relevance, and rewards. The essays were filled with insightful reflections, while the quiz created a vibrant and competitive atmosphere.
The celebration was a perfect blend of knowledge, practice, and awareness — reminding everyone that yoga is not just a practice, but a way of life.
