Ramakrishna Mission Ashram, Thatipur, hosted various inter-school competitions in celebration of the 162nd Swami Vivekananda Jayanti. On the first day, Glorians brought laurels to the school by winning many awards. Solo Bhajan competition – Somya Sharma (Class X-A) bagged first prize. Aman Sharma (Class IX-E) bagged second prize. Glorians also bagged ‘CHAL VEJANTI’ trophy in this competition. Hindi Speech competition – Siddhi Gutch (Class VII-E) and Manavi Yadav(Class VIII I), both bagged first prize together. English Speech competition – Vidushi Kaushal (Class VIII-B) bagged third prize. Path Avriti competition – Radhika Rawat (Class IV-A) bagged third prize. CBSE Adolescent Summit on Life Skills, Mental Health, Safety and Well Being held at New Delhi. This is a unique collaboration of CBSE with Expressions India that provides flexible learning opportunities to the young learners to outshow their talents and parallely learn life skills from each other. Gwalior Glory High School zealously registered its participation in the summit and procured various accolades. Anushka Gupta (IX B) participated in, Pathshala Nukkad Ki, a team event where she collaborated through online meetings with seven other schools’ participants and secured Meritorious Team Award. Similarly, Yoshita Dawrani (XI C) collaborated with five other schools for Sur Sangam Classical Group Dance and her team won Special Jury Award. She has also secured Outstanding Award in Rhetorics Young Oratorship Championship. Likewise, VibhoreShrivastava (XI E) won Meritorious Award in Utopia Thematic Painting. INSPIRE AWARDS- MANAK (2022-23) Glorian Kapish Mittal (VII-C) and Arjun Neekhra (X-B) deserve high praise for their extraordinary accomplishments! Kapish Mittal’s brilliance extended to the State Level as his project, “The Third Eye,” stood out among 96 models displayed at the District Level Science Exhibition held on January 5th and 6th, 2024, in Gwalior. Kapish’s innovative robotics solution secured a position among the top 9 selected for the State Level Science Exhibition. His creation not only showcased his dedication but also demonstrated its potential impact on aiding the visually impaired in navigation and object detection. The incorporation of an anti-collision mechanism further emphasized the project’s commitment to user safety. Kapish’s exceptional achievements were duly acknowledged, earning him a well-deserved trophy and certificate for his significant contribution to the field of science and technology. Arjun Neekhra has developed the PROTOTYPE – KAWACH, a groundbreaking innovation that earned him recognition with a participation certificate in hand. Arjun’s invention, the Kawach (Smart Suraksha Air Belt), addresses the pressing issue of motorcycle accidents that lead to significant harm and loss of lives. SGFI State Championship 2023-24 Self-belief and hard work will always bring you success. Priyadarshini Singh Kushwah of Gwalior Glory High School displayed exceptional prowess at the SGFI State Championship 2023-24 held at Satna, M.P. Securing double gold, she triumphed in the 2000m and 500m road races in the under-14 category. Now, her outstanding performance has earned her a prestigious position in SGFI National Championship. ALL INDIA AITA RANKING TENNIS TOURNAMENT-2024 All India Aita ranking Tennis Tournament was held at Singha Sports Academy from 1st January to 5th January 2024. Many students of Gwalior Glory High School actively participated in the championship Rudra Batham, Student of class 9E secured 1st position under16 doubles and became winner and went to semi final in Boys under 16 singles.
