CBSE Regional Science Exhibition, Indore 2023

The event was held on 19th and 20th Dec.’23 at Sathya Sai Vidhya Vihar, Indore. The exhibition was inaugurated by Hon. Collector, Indore Dr. Ilayraja T. 50 Teams from Madhya Pradesh showcased their talent and their scientific approach towards environment and life. 77 projects were put up for participation under 5 categories: Computational Thinking, Life, Health, Communication and Transport & Agriculture. Glorians Moksha Gupta and Harshita Gupta created a green corridor in a society and called it MY OXYZONE where residents of the society are self reliant. People living in this society are independent in growing fruits and vegetables by Hydroponics and Vertical farming. Even senior citizens of this society are picturising the mirror image of ‘Atma Nirbhar Bharat’ by making pickles, house hold items and providing micro greens for the people living in the society. They are trying to make this small world a ‘Happy Place’. Their idea was appreciated by judges as it is the need of the hour and necessity of tomorrow. In Computational Thinking- Shaurya Bansal and Deepak Sharma of Class VIII participated in Junior Category with their project ‘BT App, ‘ where Shaurya has created an App to help visually impaired people. Glorians nailed it for nationals and won accolades for their brilliant work.

UDYAMITA – 2023

It has been providing opportunity to the young aspirants to display the best of their calibre in different realms of entrepreneurship in the inter school commerce fest – Udyamita – Exploring Potential since last 13 years. Day One – 28th November 2023. The day proceeded with four neoteric events : PPDT, Connect the Thoughts, The Trailblazers Trust the Unicorn . and the Inaugural ceremony of GLORITERIA-THE CAFETERIA!! The occasion was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Shri Rajesh Chhabra, plant head at Mondelez ( Cadbury), the school Director, Ms Anita Wadhwani, the Principal and the Vice Principal. A total of 13 teams from different Schools: ITM Global School, Bhartiyam Vidya Niketan, Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, DPS, GGHS, Cambridge School from Dabra, SDVM Public School , Central Academy School, Miss Hill Hr Secondary School Happy Days School from Shivpuri and AMI Shishu Mandir ; participated in the event. The dynamic and scrupulous performance of all the teams was appraised and judged by the respectable judges, Shri Pradeep Tripathi – an Electronic and Telecommunication engineer , working as Sr Executive in Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. ; Mr. Darpan Dixit, the coach & trainer for CAT, CLAT, NID, NIFT and the Centre Director of T.I.M.E., Gwalior. Day Two : 29th November 2023 The day started with a lot of enthusiasm, as the potential Teams geared up for winning. The programme started with the Corpovita Quiz followed by Sales Wiz and the last event being the Corporate Touch. The Chief Guest for the event was Shri Mahesh Kumar Sharma, Editor, Dainik Bhaskar, Gwalior. He pointed out, how important is it for every individual to maintain his/her morality, politeness and honesty, in every walk of life. He also emphasised that he would be very happy to see the participants excelling as young entrepreneurs all across the globe, a few years down the line. The judges for the event were Shri Achal Pillai, associated with IITTM and Shri Akshay Bhatnagar, joint secretary of the Gwalior chapter of QCFI. The judges had put forth tricky questions before the participants of different teams, in various events, to which the young entrepreneurs replied promptly. Ms. Anita Wadhwani, one of the Directors of GGHS, was also present in the event to boost the spirit of the participants. The teams gave their best and the best ones were rewarded for their untiring efforts. The Valedictory function comprised of awards for the Teams, which had participated on both the days in the following events: Picture Perception and Discussion Test Happy Days School, Shivpuri Bhartiya Vidya Niketan Gwalior Glory High School Connect the Thought Central Academy Gwalior Glory High School Happy Days School, Shivpuri The Trail Blazers SKV DPS Bhartiyam Vidya Niketan Trust the Unicorn Gwalior Glory High School Cambridge School, Dabra DPS The Corpovita Quiz DPS Vidya Bhawan & Bhartiyam Vidya Niketan AMI , Shishu Mandir Sales Wiz Happy Days School Delhi Public School Gwalior Glory High School The Corporate Touch Gwalior Glory High School Happy Days DPS The Overall Championship Trophy was bagged by Happy Days School, Shivpuri and Gwalior Glory High School, jointly. While extending the vote of thanks, the Principal of GGHS, Dr. Rajeshwari Sawant, announced to give the trophy to Happy Days School, Shivpuri as GGHS was the host school. The programme ended joyfully with a group photograph of all the participants from different schools along with their mentor teachers. More Images

National Coding Challenge 2023′ (NCC-2023)

Gwalior Glory High School participated in the prestigious ‘National Coding Challenge 2023’ (NCC-2023), an event orchestrated by Juanatech in collaboration with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) India and Microsoft. The competition took place in New Delhi. Three teams of the school, naming – Crazy Glorians, Culture Yodhas, and Glorians A3D showcased their coding expertise. Team Cultural Yodhas not only demonstrated their proficiency but also qualified for the highly competitive 1st round. The team’s stellar performance made it win the prestigious rank of regional winners, securing a position among the top thirty teams from Central India. In recognition of their outstanding accomplishment, the students have been awarded certificates, affirming their participation and success at the national level.The Glorian fraternity extend heartfelt congratulations to all the team members of Cultural Yodhas: Aneek Gupta, Vedansh Pathak, and Yuvraj Gupta, for their remarkable performance and unwavering commitment to excellence.
