Storytelling Session

Storytelling session at Gwalior Glory High School A delightful storytelling session was conducted for our young learners, filled with engaging narration and a story that carried a beautiful moral. The children not only thoroughly enjoyed the performance but also took away valuable life lessons from it. Adding to the excitement, an interactive session led by our Vice Principal provided a perfect conclusion — truly the cherry on the cake, making the experience both educational and memorable for the students.

Career Counseling Session-“Prospects in Travel and Tourism Management”

Career Counselling Session at Gwalior Glory High School “The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.” On 9th April 2025, the Class XII students had the privilege to attend an enlightening session on “Prospects in Travel and Tourism Management” by Dr. Kamakshi Maheshwari, Assistant Professor at IITTM, Gwalior. A renowned academician and tourism expert, Dr. Maheshwari shared valuable insights into the vast career opportunities in tourism, drawing from her rich experience in national and international projects, including G20 and ASEAN programs. Her expertise in heritage and sustainable tourism deeply inspired the students. *“Tourism is not just travel—it’s an opportunity to connect cultures, empower communities, and preserve our heritage.” The session encouraged students to explore this dynamic field with passion and purpose. The session began with a warm welcome and a thoughtful address by the Principal, followed by Dr. Maheshwari’s enlightening talk and concluded with a Vote of Thanks by the Academic Coordinator of 9-12 segment. Let’s Connect With Teens- Dimensions of Wellness for adolescents of class VI

Let’s Connect with Teens On April 8, 2025, Gwalior Glory High School organised a session on Dimensions of Wellness for adolescents of class VI. The session was led by Dr Sandhya Ahuja, M D (Pediatrics), AHA Treasurer Gwalior and Dr Pratibha Dhir, MBBS DCH, AHA President Gwalior, Ex Senior Consultant Pediatrics (BIMR). The session aimed at introducing students to the concept of wellness and its various dimensions, promoting a holistic approach to health and well being.  The session provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the importance of wellness in their lives. Overall, the entire session was quite engaging.  It helped students to gain valuable insights and practical strategies for promoting their overall well-being.

Career Counseling Session-Stream Selection After Class X

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” An insightful Career Counseling Session was held on April 7, 2025, at GGHS, on the topic “Stream Selection After Class X.” The session was conducted by Mr. Darpan Dixit, a distinguished alumnus of IIM Kozhikode and a mentor at Toprankers- Legal Edge in Gwalior. Its objective was to guide students through the often complex process of making informed career decisions. Mr. Dixit stressed the importance of time management and strategic planning in achieving one’s career aspirations. He emphasized the need to understand personal interests and aptitudes, as well as the crucial role of thoughtful planning in shaping a successful future. During the session, students were introduced to a variety of competitive exams, such as CUET, CAT, IPM, CLAT, NID, and NIFT, among others. Mr. Dixit also shared key traits for success, including the importance of maintaining a positive mindset, practicing gratitude, developing patience, working efficiently, and, most importantly, learning from mistakes. Glorians actively participated in the discussion. The session was immensely enriching, and Mr. Dixit concluded by wishing the students a bright and successful future. GGHS family extends heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Dixit for his valuable time and insights.

Gwalior Glory High School Goes Global! A proud moment for Gwalior Glory High School as 28 students from the school participated in the 2025 Secondary School Model UNESCO International Conference on Smart & Sustainable Cities, held virtually on April 5–6, 2025. Hosted by the UNESCO Hong Kong Association and the HK Institute of Education for Sustainable Development Sponsored by Bank of China (Hong Kong) 400 participants from 15+ countries Key Focus Areas: United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) Smart Cities Development Carbon Neutrality & Emerging Energy Sources Urban Planning & Civil Engineering Media & Information Literacy (MIL) Keynote Spotlight: Dr. Alton Grizzle (UNESCO Paris) delivered an inspiring address on “MILTIVERSE: Youth Constructing MIL Cities”. Our students not only showcased their ideas but also connected with global peers, gaining meaningful insights and inspiration to help build a smarter, more sustainable world.

First Day of School Classes I To V

Welcome Back – First Day of School   GGHS is thrilled to welcome the students back for a new academic year, which started from 3rd April,2025 with a hope that it would be filled with learning, growth, and new beginnings. The first day of school is always a special time—full of excitement, curiosity, and anticipation. The teachers and staff were delighted to see the smiling faces of returning students and to meet the newest members of the school family. It started with a welcome song in the assembly followed by various fun activities and games such as colouring, dancing, singing, floor games which engaged students and made them comfortable with new teachers and peer group. Classrooms came alive as students settled in, they got to know their teachers as the introduction session was conducted by the class teachers and reconnected with friends.   More Images

Induction Program – “Collaborative Conclave” The school hosted the Collaborative Conclave, an induction program curated especially for the new admissions. The event aimed at providing parents and students with a comprehensive overview in functioning of the school, including academic schedules, uniform protocols, assessment methods, and co-curricular engagements.   To foster a welcoming environment, a variety of interactive activities such as block printing, leaf design, shape pattern creation, and tattoo art were thoughtfully arranged for both parents and children. First Day For Classes VII To XII

A Fresh Start: First Day of the New Session 2025-26 As the school gates opened for the new academic session 2025-26 on 1st April, the campus buzzed with excitement and enthusiasm. Students, eager to reunite with friends and teachers, filled the corridors with cheerful chatter and warm greetings. To mark the beginning of this new journey, a special assembly was held, where the Vice Principal, Ms Shikha Sharma, addressed the students. She motivated them to embrace learning with curiosity, set new goals, and make the most of the opportunities that lay ahead. Her words inspired everyone to step into the new session with positivity and determination. The day was made even more special with fun-filled games and engaging activities in classroom. Teachers had planned interactive sessions to ease students into their routines while fostering teamwork and creativity. GGHS celebrated Reports Day on 1st April with vibrant performances, including a melodious song, a soothing instrumental, and a lively Indo-Western dance, showcasing students’ creativity and talent.   Trophies were awarded by Principal Dr. Rajeshwari Sawant, Vice Principal Ms. Shikha Sharma, and Academic Coordinator Ms. Shalini Malik for excellence in academics and co-curricular activities. Encouragement Awards were also presented by class teachers to appreciate students’ consistent efforts. The event reflected a joyful celebration of growth, achievement, and encouragement at GGHS.
