Guru Vandan Session
Gwalior Glory High School hosted a heartfelt *Guru Vandan Session* for Class IX students, graced by School Director *Mr. Gopi Mandhan* and Principal *Dr. Rajeshwari Sawant*. Guest speaker *Mr. Pankaj Nafde*, noted social worker and President of Bhagini Nivedita Shiksha Samiti, spoke about the timeless role of a Guru and India’s profound contributions to science, medicine, and philosophy. 🌱 A sapling and memento were presented as a token of gratitude. The session beautifully honoured the spirit of learning and the legacy of knowledge. 🇮🇳

CADENCE – A Transcendental Journey
Gwalior Glory High School proudly hosted CADENCE – A Transcendental Journey on 23rd July 2025, a Sahodaya event dedicated to the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. The event highlighted his message of fearlessness, self-realisation, and the blend of science and spirituality. The programme began with a floral tribute and an insightful introduction by student anchors. The Principal, Dr. Rajeshwari Sawant, delivered the welcome address, emphasising values-based education. Esteemed Chief Guests Swami Krishnamritananda Ji and Dr. Suresh Chandra Sharma shared enlightening words that left a lasting impact. Twelve schools participated in the event, including: Mount Litera Zee School (Bhind & Gwalior), Sanskar Public School, Rishi Galav Public School, Ramakrishna Mission School, Aditya World School, Doon Public School, Carmel Convent Sr. Sec. School, Ami Shishu Mandir, Birla Open Minds International School, 7i World School, and the host school. All participants received certificates of participation. The Vice Principal, Ms. Shikha Sharma, delivered the vote of thanks, appreciating the efforts of all schools and guests. The event concluded with memento presentations and a call to live by Swamiji’s ideals. CADENCE 2025 will be remembered as a meaningful celebration of knowledge, culture, and spiritual insight. IAP CPR Week Celebration
🫀 IAP CPR Week Celebration Gwalior Glory High School | 21st July 2025 As part of IAP CPR Week, a Mass CPR Awareness Program was conducted in memory of Dr. Anand Shandiya, organised by the Gwalior Academy of Pediatrics in collaboration with IAP. 🔹 Session Highlights: Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR vs. Heart Attack CPR techniques & AED use Hands-on training & timely response 💡 Students and teachers gained vital life-saving skills through interactive training. 👨⚕️ Resource Experts: Dr. Rashmi Gupta, Dr. Karunesh Piperiya, Dr. J.C. ✨ Investiture Ceremony 2025–26 ✨ A day of pride, promise and purpose! The Students’ Investiture Ceremony for the session 2025–26 unfolded with grandeur as the newly elected Students’ Council took center stage. The ceremony was gracefully led by the Head Students’ Council, featuring Head Boy Arnav Rastogi, Head Girl Teesya Raut, and Sports Captain Kanupriya Sharma, who stood tall as symbols of leadership and commitment. A soulful musical performance set a harmonious tone, followed by the solemn investiture of the Students’ Council, passing the baton of responsibility to the young leaders. The March Past, a display of discipline and unity, added rhythm to the celebration. The ceremony was further enriched by inspiring words from our respected Principal and Vice-Principal, leaving the young leaders with wisdom to lead with integrity. The event concluded on a hopeful note, echoing the spirit of teamwork, service, and leadership that defines our school. “Educating for a Sustainable Future: Integrating SDGs into the School Curriculum” A workshop on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) was recently organised at Gwalior Glory High School in collaboration with Goyal Brothers Prakashan, with the aim of aligning classroom teaching with global challenges and real-world issues. The session was led by Ms. Pratishtha Dwivedi, who brought the topic to life through fun-based activities and an engaging learning-by-doing approach. The key goals of the workshop were: 🔹 To help educators understand the 17 SDGs and their relevance in education. 🔹 To provide practical strategies for integrating SDGs into different subjects. 🔹 To encourage value-based learning through real-life examples and activities. 🔹 To develop an understanding among students about their role in addressing global concerns. With experiential learning at its core, the workshop reaffirmed the school’s commitment to nurturing socially responsible students through a progressive CBSE curriculum.
