A Spectacular Celebration at Gwalior Glory High School! URJA: The Energetic Glorians The school campus was abuzz with enthusiasm and pride for a grand celebration filled with vibrant performances and energetic activities. The event began on an inspiring note ,with a warm address by the Principal, followed by the inauguration ceremony, where the esteemed Chief Guest , Prof. Dr. Indu Bora, Vice-Chancellor of L.N.I.P.E. (Officiating), was welcomed by the honorable Directors of the school. The esteemed Chief Guest released balloons, signifying hope and aspirations. She also congratulated everyone for the exceptional efforts in making the day a grand success. The highlights of the day included: A Melodious Welcome Song that set the perfect tone for the celebration. A disciplined and synchronized March Past, step to step, showcasing unity and precision. Little Glorians’ Skating Performance—a beautiful display of agility and grace. A Colourful Butterfly Drill, filling the arena with vibrant hues. The energetic Ball Drill, capturing the attention of the audience. Exciting Football and Hockey Matches, cheered by our spirited cheerleaders. A powerful Karate Skill Demonstration, reflecting strength and discipline. A unique fusion of Zumba and Yoga, blending energy with mindfulness. A mesmerizing Blossoming Flower Drill, symbolizing growth and creativity. An Energetic Zumba Performance, leaving everyone energized and joyful. The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the Vice Principal of the school, expressing gratitude to all those who contributed for the success of the event. The arena was filled with colours, energy, and enthusiasm, making the event truly unforgettable. Career Counselling Session for “Career Options in a Changing World”

Gwalior Glory High School hosted an insightful career counselling session for Class 9 students on the theme “Career Options in a Changing World”. The session was led by Dr. Vinod Tiwari, a bestselling author, international speaker, global podcaster, and the recipient of the Most Innovative Solar Energy Expert of the Year 2019 award. With over a decade of experience as the Director of Renewable Power Solutions in the UAE, Dr. Tiwari inspired students to embrace self-assessment and explore diverse career opportunities beyond traditional fields like engineering, medicine, and chartered accountancy. The session concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from the Academic Coordinator, who presented Dr. Tiwari with a token of appreciation for his invaluable guidance.

*Celebrating Unity in Diversity through Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat!*  Gwalior Glory High School organized an Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Exhibition, with pride, showcasing the vibrant cultures of Bihar and Madhya Pradesh. The students displayed their creativity and knowledge through stalls featuring handicrafts, papier-mâché art, traditional toys, and informative brochures on eminent personalities, literary figures, and tourist spots from both states.  This engaging initiative fostered a spirit of unity and understanding, allowing students to explore and celebrate the rich heritage of India. G20 Summit

Success is the result of teamwork, dedication, and a shared vision. Here’s to the completion of an unforgettable event that brought us all together! The Gwalior 20 Summit 2024, hosted by Gwalior Glory High School on December 9th and 10th, celebrated innovation, collaboration, and sustainable solutions. The School Directors also made this summit more special with their short presence in every committee. The principal set the floor open with her wise words, she inspired the students urging them to think critically and lead responsibly. MUN  Coordinator – Ms. Kiran Kaur, her exemplary leadership and meticulous coordination were instrumental in the  seamless execution and successful completion of the event .  It was inaugurated by President of the Gwalior 20 summit, Harshvardhan Singh Tomar, who set the tone with a recitation of a heartfelt poem by Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He also emphasized on the importance of a bottom-to-top approach in governance, encouraging participants to prioritize grassroots-level solutions for sustainable development. The Secretary General ,Krishna Agarwal concluded the summit, reflecting on the accomplishments and the importance of youth-driven change. The Director highlighted the need to empower local governance, underlining its significance in fostering impactful civic management. Key Highlights of the Summit Four meticulously designed committees deliberated on critical themes: Gwalior Wellness and Knowledge Forum (GWKF): Tackled issues like sanitation and mental health awareness. Gwalior Smart City Economic Forum: Explored innovative urban development strategies. Gwalior Kranti Samiti: Discussed contributions to India’s independence. Gwalior Youth Municipal Forum: Focused on enhancing civic amenities and increasing transparency in governance, particularly regarding MPLADS funds. The summit followed its hallmark tradition, with the Executive Members and Coordinators ensuring smooth proceedings. Local Media, Photography, and Caricature Teams added a creative edge, capturing the vibrancy of the event. Committee Results The committees showcased exceptional talent through debates, motions, and innovative solutions. Earthquake Quiz

Glorious Victory at NICEE Earthquake Quiz Competition! Gwalior Glory High School hosted the prestigious *NICEE Inter-School Earthquake Quiz Competition* on December 11, 2024, conducted by *IIT Kanpur*. This engaging event aimed to enhance awareness about earthquake and its impact on young minds.  The semi-final rounds, featuring *Round Robin, *Picture-Based, and *Lucky Number* rounds, saw enthusiastic participation from six renowned schools:  Emerald Heights International School, Indore Choithram School, Indore Gabriel’s Hr. Senior Secondary School, Jabalpur Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan’s Prism School, Satna D.A Reliance Foundation School, Jamnagar Gwalior Glory High School, Gwalior We are proud to announce that *Gwalior Glory High School* secured *1st position, followed by **Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan’s Prism School, Satna* in 2nd place and *Emerald Heights International School, Indore* in 3rd. Dr. Shivesh Pandey PhD in Computer Science, working at IIT Kanpur for the past 16 years and has been associated with the NICEE as a Project Officer for the last 8 years, graced the occasion by awarding participation certificates to all teams. The event was a grand success, leaving participants motivated and informed.  Looking ahead, the *Final Round* will take place on *January 20, 2025, at *IIT Kanpur*. Best wishes to all finalists!

Cyber Crime Prevention

Think Before You Click!  GWALIOR GLORY HIGH SCHOOL has conducted an informative session for the Glorians of Class IX on CYBER CRIME PREVENTION. The ongoing campaign is initiated by Nai Duniya in association with Gurukul Dream Foundation. The session commenced with a warm welcome addressed by the esteemed Principal of the school, Dr Rajeshwari Sawant, Ms. Anjali, representing the Gurukul Dream Foundation, delivered a comprehensive presentation, emphasizing the importance of responsible online behaviour and precautionary measures to prevent cyber threats. The speakers from the Cyber Cell, Inspector Varsha Singh, Sub-Inspector Ajay Mishra, and Assistant Sub-Inspector Rajesh Babu Rathore shared invaluable insights and expertise on staying safe in the digital world. This interactive session equipped the Glorians with knowledge about cyber laws, the dangers of installing apps from unknown sources, digital arrest scams, and practical tips to secure devices from cyber fraudsters. The speakers addressed the queries of the students with clarity and expertise, creating an engaging learning environment. The session concluded with the vote of thanks by the Academic Coordinator Ms Manjinder Namdhari. The school management and principal extend their heartfelt gratitude to the speakers for making the event a resounding success. Together, let’s ensure a safer digital space for all.

*May the light of the Supreme Soul guide us on our journey of self-discovery and spiritual growth*   Cultivating Inner Peace at Gwalior Glory High School! GGHS recently hosted ” *Being Light* “, a programme for Emotional Well Being, in collaboration with the Indian Medical Association, Gwalior. The esteemed guests, including Dr. Brijesh Singhal (IMA President, Gwalior), Dr. Krishna Sharma (Anaesthetist, HOD, Rampura District Hospital, Kota), BK Kirti (Rajyoga Teacher, BTech from IIT Roorkee), BK Dr. Hema, BK Sonika, and Dr. Sneh Lata Dubey, shared valuable insights on emotional well-being and mindfulness. The energy we surround ourselves with has a profound impact on our lives, emphasizing the importance of choosing positivity and kindness. By letting go of fear and insecurity, we can unlock our true potential and experience happiness and bliss. To drive these points home, the guests led the students in a guided meditation session, allowing them to experience the transformative power of mindfulness firsthand.
